Season 3 is dropping soon
and it's going to be great!
Season 3 of the Pope Francis Generation Podcast starts next week!
The audience who I created this podcast for are Catholics, especially millennials, who feel alienated from the Church because of politics, culture wars, abuse scandals, or struggles with Church teaching. That is, folks inside the Church who feel like outsiders.
This season leans into that theme.
We’re kicking things off with a fantastic interview with the Orthodox theologian Brad Jersak who recently wrote a book titled, “Out of the Embers: Faith After the Great Deconstruction.”
We ask him questions like: Where is God in the midst of seemingly meaningless suffering? Where is Jesus when people are abused and harmed by the people who represent him? What do we do when we feel like we’re pulling at the loose threads of our faith and are afraid that if we keep pulling the whole thing will unravel?
This season will also have discussions about the liturgy, universalism, welcoming LGBTQ folks, spiritual abuse, toxic NFP culture, and papal authority with guests like Jordan Daniel Wood, Rachel Amiri, Robert Fastiggi, Fr. James Martin, Mike Lewis, and more! All of it centered on the Kerygma, theosis, and the teaching of Pope Francis.

Also, as you may have noticed, I haven’t been writing much the past couple of weeks. I’ve been working on a few new projects that I’m excited to announce soon!
Finally, if you like this podcast and the resources I’ve published, please consider becoming a paid subscriber to the Pope Francis Generation. Your support goes directly to helping me pay my bills while I’m going to school full-time.
